Structural Analysis

Structural Analysis using Non-linear Geometric FEM

State-of-the-art non-linear geometric FEM simulations using full 3D solid FEM blade models are used as a standard when structural blade behavior is investigated.
Bladena uses FEM with the main focus to predict and investigate trends, such as peeling stress magnitudes associated with structural failures, rather than predicting exact numbers. The blade FEM models are developed using a validated method using field deformation measurements.
