D-String® in Tokyo - presented by GSIWind

3/14/2017

Bladena and the D-String® solution were presented at WindExpo 2017 in Tokyo by GSIWind. With the increasing installations of wind turbines both offshore and onshore in Japan, Bladena sees a good potential in the market for its D-String®.
D-String® enhances the structural design of the blades and eliminates the risk of cracks in the trailing edge max chord area. The edgewise loading of the blades normally driven by gravity, will increase significantly in case of earth quakes; hence the Bladena solution is a perfect match to the Japanese market where the conditions can be extreme.
